ISA Competition - Starts Saturday October 21
Opens Teams Only - All Day 50 Over games
Venues include: Bowral, Central Coast, Oxley, Blue Mountains, Orange, Bathurst, Oakhill, St Patrick's Strathfield, St Andrew's at Sydney University (Home & Away Series)
District Players will be allocated to Teams on the basis of age at 31st August, an SPX Cricket Philosophy has been developed which outlines the factors that affect the selection and placement of players each season.
Open Team (1st & 2nd XI) selections are made by the ISA Selection Committee which is staffed by St Pius School Staff - Not the Cricket Club, all players are eligible to be considered and will be fully informed of the process via the school/student communication process.
As these teams are effectively the 'REP' teams of St Pius X, selections are primarily merit based. Some of the factors considered by the selection panel are: Physical & mental strength, maturity, individual and team skills.
A limited squad of 12 players per team will be selected, this means not all players who trial can or will gain selection.
SPX Cricket is pleased to announce the continuation of our relationship with Cricket Appeal http://www.cricketappeal.com.au/ whose coaches will coach all teams during the week.
Should anyone have any questions regarding registration or the season in general, please don't hesitate to contact James Colgan, SPX CC Secretary via firstname.lastname@example.org
